Attention Blog Readers

I may not comment on your blog, but that does not mean I did not read it, think about and sometimes attempt to comment. I have noticed that if I turn off Ad Blocker on my browser for specific blogs it will allow me to comment. That in itself seems odd.

But there are still some blogs that I used to be able to make comments on and now cannot.
Birds and Nature in the Forest of Dean and Beyond
 Adventures before Dementia
Fools Rush In
Linda Letters

This is VERY ANNOYING. I am going to work on this, but if you have ideas or suggestions, let me know! In the meantime, I will keep hammering away.

  1. You may want to check with the bloggers in case they've changed their settings.

  2. The 3rd party cookies' setting is what stops me from leaving comments on blogs. It depends on the browser. Google goes on about security privacy but makes it difficult for folks to navigate websites. I started again using the broweser Duckduckgo. Ads are still following me around.

  3. Thanks for letting me know. I don't know what to do about it but when I get some time and am willing to be frustrated, I'll see what I can find out on my end. :-(

  4. I find I have suddenly stopped hearing from some long time blogger friends and I wonder if this is the sort of thing that has happened. There are so many glitches that can happen. If I comment using my iPad or iPhone, my name won't appear. However, if I use my desktop and MacBook, I'll appear normally. It's weird.

  6. I often cannot comment from my ipad or phone, which peeves me greatly. So far, the computer hasn't let me down.

  7. might be your browser. I use Chrome and so far don't have any problems commenting. I know at least one of my readers was having trouble but I think she resolved it. don't ask me how.

  8. I do hope it gets sorted soon, it's so very frustrating to have friends you want to "talk" to and you can't.

  9. I also have run into that problem with commenting where I want. It's frustrating as comments are beneficial and turn blogs into conversations-- at least to a degree

  10. That is sad that you cannot comment on my blog anymore. I had trouble commenting last week but got a message to say turn on cookies in your browser and that fixed it on Crome but not on Safari. Good luck hope you can fix it.
