As a grandmother on 24/7 duty this week, I do not have time to post anything! So go to Bob Brady'spost here and get an uplifting news story...better than anything we have managed to report on here in America.
I sure do understand the 24/7 grandparenting time commitment. Even though my son and daughter-in-law also live with us, it is still constant. A joy. But constant.
Disasters bring out the best a and the worst in mankind. Skeptic that I am, I doubt that much would have been returned if the disaster had struck here. Looting seems to be the usual result.
Of course the same thing would happen here. We are basically an honest, caring lot of folks. However I can assure you that our media would NEVER report the honesty uncovered in one of our disasters, only the evil uncovered hits front pages.

ReplyDeleteWow. That is some story. And very touching. It also reminded me of that tragic event.
ReplyDeleteGrandparenting is a full time job for sure. I find I am always busy with the five that I have. Texting a lot! Ha!!
