Crystal Ball Gazing

There are moments when you are given the magical power to look into a crystal ball.  You can see into the future just as if you were there already.  You can see the images in the ball more clearly if your eyes are cloudy with age.  Taking this photo of my 2-year-old granddaughter was one of those moments.  Look out world, here she comes.

  2. She is beautiful. The world doesn't need to look out, just be grateful she's on her way.

  4. Yes, yes, we can all see this coming....and be glad. I have one granddaughter who photographs like that....in just a moment of time the world is hers. Lovely.

Yes, turquoise just for this year. I used these balls last in 2005. I had to look this up, mind you.....laughing at myself. Last year we used little figures mixed with red balls. I don't decorate the house, I don't make a big fuss over the holiday, but I dearly love a pretty tree.

  5. Wow! You have two blogs and a very beautiful granddaughter, who is the mirror image of you, looking out her opposite eye. You have so much brilliance to fill that new mind, Tabor. i hope she becomes a naturalist and a photographer like her grandmother! xoxo

  9. Whats a beauty! I can see what you see - she will tell the world where to get off!

Re your comment: Mel, Rhonda, Billy and I do most of the work; the others do small things and fetch for us. There were 3-4 other women who came in one day to help do the trees. It is definitely a joint effort. This year, we had to make about 10-12 arrangements for the Governor's private quarters too, which we've never done before.

  13. I love when I can see an adult in a child and a child in an adult. I get those glimpses sometimes.
