I feel that way when I dress myself, so I usually do a reality check with my wife before going out. Today she left for work before I did. I ended up with mismatching socks and had to stay at my desk all day.
My clothes meant a lot to me as a little girl. When I was 4 I had an impromptu stay over with cousins. The grownups made me wash my clothes and wear my cousins boy clothes in the meanwhile. I was so upset and still remember it!
My approach with my daughter was 'Is she naked? No? I'm done.' She still gleefully tells the story of the day I brought her to preschool in her pajamas.

ReplyDeleteAww what a sweetie.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! For the records, I'm not a big fan of socks either...unless it's freezing in my bed! Then I like the warm, fuzzy kind.

ReplyDeleteThere go those socks!
She is a beauty. You have years ahead of being entertained.
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolutely cutie. I want to take my socks off, too, and run barefoot in the grass. Actually, I just wish I could still run. ;-)

ReplyDeleteDiva in the making. LOL
ReplyDeletePrecious photo of a darlin' girl,
ReplyDeleteAll my little grands are growing up too quickly.
She is such a cutey! I like to take my sock off first thing when I get home.
