Both you and I are probably the only two people left in the world who have not read the Harry Potter series.
ReplyDeleteBear((( )))
I know...someday I will...perhaps. Also, I have not read the BIBLE from cover to cover but over the years have read most of it.
ReplyDeleteWell, you are both missing some very good books and I recommend them.
ReplyDeleteI have done that list before, but I'm not sure I kept it. I'll try to find the time to do it again.
Thankyou for this wonderful list. Some of the books I've read completely, a few--just a few pages and many are on my wish list. When will I read them? Anyhow, glancing at your list inspires me to dust a few books and start over.
ReplyDeleteI have read all of my life. Love books. Have read the bible through twice and have 8 books my son loaned me from his library by Thich Nhat Hanh, Dalai Lama, mostly books following the Buddhist path. A number of favorite books I have saved.
ReplyDeleteBut I must confess I could not make a list like you have. This is probably something I should have started doing many many years ago. So many years ago that I must be becoming ancient. Or maybe I am ancient.
Me! I did not read Harry Potter. No thanks. But, I also could not get into Tolkienn.
ReplyDeleteWe'd get points in Sunday School for reading Bible chapters. I can't say that I grasped it all, but I read it.
I posted it. Only 12 for me, but maybe I can remedy that with my next trip to the library.
Oooh ooohh you really ought to take a look at even the first of His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman.
ReplyDeleteI recently sold my signed (to me personally) first editions!! They will pay for my next holiday to Japan, yippeeeee! I suppose I ought to blog about that...
I read one or two of those. Yes I did.
ReplyDeleteno harry potter for me - now or ever. no appeal here.
ReplyDeletewish we had all kept our reading lists through the years. we would actually impress ourselves when we went back through it! so many now long forgotten.
