Just Wondering
Wondering why your fireplace is not drawing as well as it did last fall?
Wondering why you are getting snowy TV reception so suddenly?
Wondering why your roof looks like it is covered in snow so early? (It is really gull droppings.)
(I have returned from my extensive and wonderful trip to Calgary and Banff and the Badlands of Alberta, Canada. Took hundreds of photos and will post just a few as I weed out summer's photos such as shown above! Catching up on your blogs this week...I hope!)
That's a good start; I'll be looking forward to the rest!!
ReplyDeleteoh Banff and the Badlands! I am very jealous.
ReplyDeleteBless our little birdie friends. In our old house they would occasionally make it clear down the chimey and I'd open the door after work to find a hysterical bird flopping around in the living room. I'd open the sliding doors to the deck and the little birdbrains would eventually find their way out.
ReplyDeleteI liked the summer photos. I need desperately to weed here too. Welcome home. :)
ReplyDeleteAre they on your house? If so, what are you going to do about them? What can you do about them?
ReplyDeleteFor a moment (till I enlarged the photo) I thought it was a vulture sitting on the chimney! Looking forward to some more photos from these exotic sounding locations.
ReplyDeleteWe get moss on our roofs out here in the Pacific Northwest. I'm thankful that the sea gulls don't make it worse by fertilizing it.
ReplyDeletePost lots of pictures of your trip!
Can't wait to see your photos, Tabor. I know you must have had a fabulous time. I have another blog friend who just went to Banff--and posted lots of pictures. What a fabulous place.
ReplyDeleteWe just had our chimney cleaned and have even had one fire in there recently.. Fall is finally here!!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
I want to be like you when I grow up. :)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward!
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to those photos! Those places are on my must see list.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to your photos of Banff. I was out that way a number of years ago.
ReplyDeleteThat trip was one of the most memorable trips I have ever taken. So beautiful!
In my next life - I want to be Tabor :) Looking forward to your sharing about your wonderful trip.
ReplyDeleteTabor, I got the giggles something fierce from that first photograph. It took a moment to mentally process, "wha...hey!" Meanwhile the bird says, "What? My tail feathers are nice and toasty this way."
ReplyDeleteI look forward to the pictures! What a beautiful time of year to visit Canada, just as the trees begin to turn.
I'm really stupidly excited :-) Where I live, it's the high desert. We don't get a lot of quality tree pictures. Thank you for sharing.
Welcome back, eh? I'm looking forward to seeing your photos from this side of the border.
ReplyDeleteLove the bird shots.. they just make themselves at home, don't they?
