My Darling Clementines
Every year at this time I pick up a container of clementines from the market. I make sure they are the ones from Spain as I was disappointed one year from a box of 'so-called' clementines from California. Once I get them home I put them in a hand woven basket where they are seen each time we walk by. Since they are seedless and sweet both hubby and I eat them like popcorn!
You left out the "O" in the title:)
ReplyDeleteI have to say I have never tried them. I see them at the grocery but just do not buy them. I will try them and remember to buy those from Spain. Thank you for the tip.
ReplyDeleteI haven't bought any yet this season, but I love them!
ReplyDeleteI have them in my fruit bowl. But maybe they're tangerines. Joe bought them so I'm not sure. I'm waiting for the good navel oranges. Guess I'll have to wait till spring. I'm waiting for that too.
ReplyDeleteoh, we do the same thing - except i like mine cold so i refrigerate a few at a time. delicious!
ReplyDeleteThey are part of our Christmas in England too. Only we can have satsumas these days in the toes of our stockings (if we have them).
ReplyDeleteSeeing them in the shops and vegetable market stalls and barrows is a sign that winter is on its way and Christmas is coming!
