A Girl Scout is Prepared
They are talking about winds of 25-35 and gusts up to 50 MPH. Moved all the outside furniture and took the boat out of the water. Had to take down the hummingbird feeder, sorry. We have to be somewhere else over the weekend, so I hope the house is standing OK and dry when we get back.
I battened down our hatches this morning; putting as much as I could out of harm's way. The weather people say that Hanna is going to be good training for Ike, which will be a much stronger storm.
ReplyDeleteOur bee man has to come and remove the bee hive today, in prep for the storm. Poor bees!
P.S. I hope you and your home will be okay.
ReplyDeleteI hope so, too.
ReplyDeleteYikes! Dave is a weather worry wart and we would be home. Glad your going because watching the wind blow is no fun. Be safe.
ReplyDeleteDid you take that shot? WOW!
glad you have prepared so that you can enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteWe *Girl Guides* in Canada were also taught to be prepared.
ReplyDeletePrayers for all of you who must *be prepared* during hurricane season.
Bear((( )))
Hope all my blogger friends are ok...
