I am leaving in two days for a 10 hour trip with a car full of toddlers (with colds) and more STUFF than any human deserves or needs...although 95% of the stuff is not mine. I have been told I am NOT allowed to bring ANY food...so shopping will be a priority at the other end, or standing in long lines in restaurants! I will be gone more than a week and we will celebrate at least two birthdays.
If I never return here to post again, you will be left with the mystery of wondering what happened to me. If you come across some old lady toes sticking out of the beach sand on your next vacation, that might be a clue.
I hope you have a great and lovely trip!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the two family members.
Did you check your sanity level? "No" is a one word sentence, you know. I would hand the kids with colds to the parents and fly to meet them. LOL I think my personal compassion left me during this last one year cold I had.
ReplyDeleteMage, my daughter is flying with the little one because that would mean the three adults and two toddlers left in the van do not have to stop often....maybe? Oh well, I will survive.
ReplyDeleteDo you know the phrase 'glutton for punishment?'
ReplyDeleteJust asking. It seemed to spring to mind.
Still, I suppose I'd better wish you 'happy holidays'.
[smile] I like you. You're nutz!!
ReplyDeleteTime with the little ones--it's always such a great idea in concept.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy...endure.
methinks (mehopes!) this is a one time only trip. sounds like it could be memorable, the stuff family histories are made of? as far as toddlers with colds, you might want to try this. it sounds gross -but i hear tell it works! will be waiting with baited breath to hear tales of the road!
ReplyDeleteI'm giggling. You are going to have SO much fun!
ReplyDeleteA great big belly laugh here!!!! Ha!
ReplyDeleteHave a super time and don't starve!!
Good luck!
Hugs

Haha! Take some beta glucan to keep your resistance up.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time and be patient!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm stalled on the image of your toes sticking out of the sand years from now. Have a wonderful time. (My word verification is blest"
ReplyDeleteIsn't the photo of what remains of you after the trip? Just bubbles? Don't forget your video-camera!
ReplyDeleteBetter you than me!! Take care and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteAnd so I go off to bed laughing! Have a grand time with your crew. I look forward to the stories.
ReplyDeleteDeep breath, then Ohmmmmmm....
I'm in Myrtle Beach. I'm guessing you're not here, so I won't look for your toes.
ReplyDeleteYou'll survive, so be sure to blog about it. :)
Have a splendid time!
ReplyDeleteYipes----Toddlers and vacations don't go together... To me it won't be much of a vacation with lots of toddlers!!!!! ha ha
ReplyDeleteHave fun wherever you are.
Hugs,
Betsy
Have a wonderful time
