Th kindergarteners on my street were all abuzz on their way home today. Two birds had flown into their classroom and Mr.Mark and Mr. Bob, the custodians, had to come in and teach them how to fly back out the window! I think the kids will keep this memory forever. Let's hear it for our school people!
They like to hop for a change! Maybe they're looking for worms in the snow... We're getting nailed again on Cape Cod today! Found a pic of snowy steps on Annies n hopped over to see!!
It is kind of cute, you had to admit that. The trail between my feeders looks like a bird army marched trough. My crow buddies always walk away from the trees before they take off.
It reminds me of the recent bird mystery on TV a few weeks ago when several birds met their demise all in the same small area... I think they finally came up with a conclusion for cause of death. Maybe the media can answer your question. :)
That is clever.
ReplyDeleteNo that's a poser !!
ReplyDeleteperhaps they lost something and were looking for it? You know, like a retainer, or a contact lens?

They are doing their cardio to burn off those extra calories they gained over the holidays! Sheesh!
ReplyDeleteIf I could fly I would flit from branch to branch. From tree to tree...never the ground. But of course, I do have to eat. Sigh!

I don't often laugh out loud, but I did just then. Just the right amount of comment and picture!
ReplyDeleteBoehner got more choked up at the close of Obama's speech when he recognized both he and Biden as working class types that rose to where they are now.
They must be called "bird brains" for a reason.
ReplyDeleteTo leave us smiling.
ReplyDeleteMaybe they just flew a long distance and their wings were tired...

Poor little birdies... They are probably looking for something to eat on each step... ha ha
