I am going away for the weekend. Can you keep these guys away from my rose bush---and everything else for that matter? (Don't you wonder what they were whispering about before I showed up?)
No way to keep them away. Now why would you want to. They are beautiful and are making friends with you. When you arrive home They may be standing on your porch or deck. I am just jesting. Have a great weekend.

Mother Nature's finest have come calling.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend and hopefully you will have your rose bushes intact when you come back.
Bear((( )))
At first I thought they were phony but I enlarged and see that they are the pure quill. Maybe they won't hurt you bad....maybe.
ReplyDeleteWe have a problem in some parts of rural Dorset too. I hear lion poo is the only thing that will keep them away from roses!
ReplyDeleteThey certainly look like they were startled by you. No doubt they were cooking up a plan.
ReplyDeleteDoes Wal-Mart sell "lion poo"? Yuk, yuk, yuk! (In the laughing sense and the disgusted sense).
Yes, Hoss, they are very real unfortunately. They may look a little artificial because my flash gave them white eyes and I had to fix that...
ReplyDeleteThe best solution may have been to take them along for the weekend :-)
