Bubbly for New Year's Eve.
Hope you are going to have a perfect New Year's Eve followed by a better 2018. We are not celebrating with anyone, anywhere and will probably watch the event on TV if we decide to stay up!
These birds got me thinking about how to celebrate the incoming of a new year....

Eastern Bluebird |
So, I went out and bought me some bubbly for the big event.
These are bath "bombs." Cheers!!
Great idea, Tabor. The kind of bubbly I’d prefer too.
ReplyDeleteStaying home is a good plan which we are going to follow this year for a welcome change. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI thought from the first two photos that you were going to say you would celebrate by joining in a polar bear club event.
ReplyDeletemy daughter and grandkids love those things. we bought some bubbly too but I don't intend on bathing in mine.
ReplyDeleteAh, great idea, but can I get out of the tub?
ReplyDeleteWe forgot bubbly and rarely stay up to see the year come in-- although once in a while a neighbor shooting off a shotgun will awaken us just for the moment :)
ReplyDeleteI will probably be asleep by 10 dreaming of good things for next year.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Delightful pictures of happy birds. :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Bubbly!
ReplyDeleteI watch the Times Square ball drop when I don't fall asleep. I usually toast the New Year with the wine of the Earth, water. This year human processed grapes will be in my glass. That bottle of wine in the fridge has been there for a few years. Time to bring in a new year with change.
Wishing you a safe and prosperous 2018. Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteThank you for another year of wonderful posts! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThe best bubblies are in the bath. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHah, hah. I like your "solution." I have to admit . . . I was asleep by 11 p.m.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a bubbly New Year.
ReplyDeleteI do not own a bathtub.
