The Nasty Captcha!

According to some readers you can ignore the Captcha word verification window that appears before you comment.  I (and many other bloggers) have word verification off and yet it still appears!  Ignore it and lets see if you can comment!!

  1. Mine did the same thing. I even went back to be sure I had it set right but still, there it was.

  2. Thanks for asking the question, as I've seen so many with the word verification lately.

  3. I was able to post without putting in the numbers.

  4. If you had this off and it appeared anyway, could it be on my blog? And if so, could I see it from my end of things - can you see it on your own blog?

  5. Yep, like Linda Kay, I posted without putting in the required numbers. Weird.

  6. I read something about Google doing something different with Captcha, so you didn't always have to use it. I wish I paid more attention now.

  8. I've always included the verification numbers but here goes. Let's see what happens.

  9. I can comment without entering anything. Captain Poolie, who has a blog at Wordpress, doesn't have to type in the numbers using either her computer or cell. Neither does The Smitten Image. She turned me on to the fact that you don't have to type in 9297 to leave a note.

Cruising. The ships come in all sizes. Bigger seems to be in, but HAL and Viking both have small ships. I thought you followed Kay at Musings:

She is just now in Turkey, and as my mother used to say "taking her hotel with her." LOL

  11. Yup, it's been working like a charm. And in response to Marty's question, I can see it on my own blog and circumvent it there as well.
