Posting...or Not

I have been having trouble posting comments on a few blogs.   Murmurrs and Butler and Bagman to name two.  This may have been going on for some time because I assumed my comments were going through and I did not go back to read what I had written.  The other day I had wanted to add something and found that none of my posts were being accepted, at least to these two and maybe others.  I know that coding is becoming more individualized by bloggers, but does anyone know about this bug, and if so, found a solution?  (I tried IE and deleted all the cookies and that worked.  Mozilla is still being temperamental.  I am so depressed that all my wit and wisdom was for not lost in the Interknot!)

Now I find that Loose Leaf Notes is being blocked for Malware or something or other,no matter which broswer I use!  Sorry Colleen but Google will not let me comment!  Two bloggers forward and one backward.  Maybe this is a Mayan thing after all?

  2. Testing, testing, 1-2-3. I visited both of these blogs and left comments. Both comments appeared. AND...I am so glad I went. What neat blogs. Thanks!

  4. I deleted cookies, etc. but that did not help. I went to IE as my browser and that helped! Maybe I need to upgrade my Firefox...I will look into that.

  5. I'm sorry, I am not very good at those things, but, try getting in tough with blogger.

  6. Sometimes when it has happened to me, it's been when there was a word verification that I didn't go down to see. Other times they didn't like my server-- Hughes net and there was no solution. Frustrating when it happens.

  7. Most of the word verification blogs don't seem to accept my comments no matter how many times I try. Duh on me, can't seem to fix it.

  8. Oh I hate when that happens! It's nothing on my end, I assure you. I don't even make people slide through the captcha code turnstile. I even love my anonymous spam comments like the one I got this morning: "its took place tend scraping non consent scenes" from the great weblog "howmanycalories."

  9. I don't have a solution but your troubles remind me of why I left Blogger...to experience different problems. I hope you figure this out. I haven't noticed any problems receiving your comments.

I know people had trouble signing into Wordpress a while back. And I had trouble signing into blogs with Word verification - but it all seems to have sorted itself out now.

  11. If you don't have CCcleaner software, get it (free) n run it to get rid of the stuff that does this to your machine. I have memory issues so do that each week or every click takes a half hour!

  12. Oh NO, I don't know what's going on. My web hoster is in the hospital. First my blog disappeared and I paid his bill. Now it is giving a virus warning. He is home and thought he fixed it but I am still having trouble. Maybe tomorrow when it's not Christmas he will look at it again.
