Senior Moments

I am eating breakfast and only listening with one ear to the news host.  I turn to hubby who is beginning to spread butter on his English muffin.

"Did she just say 'Soup and Salad'?" I ask.

Hubby turns his head toward me.  "Nope, she said 'Soup and Thai.  I am sure."

"'Soup and Thai?'"  I look at the TV screen.  "That can't be right.  That doesn't make any sense."

"Sounded like 'Soup and Thai' to me."

"Oh well, I don't buy his music anyway."  I say as I finish my coffee.

  2. Olga, if you are not aware of a very popular 30 something singer who has been absent from the music scene of a decade...then this will not be funny at all.

  3. I believe I've had that same conversation before. And I was by myself.

  5. You sound like us - since neither of us an hear - we have some interesting conversations.

I saw your comment at Millie's. What hair product do you use that gives you lift, shine and smoothness at all once???

  10. I had a delightful lunch with my daughter yesterday. She had met me in Tulsa to go to my CT Scan with me. I misunderstood several things people were saying to me and my daughter kept murmuring under her breath, "miracle ear, miracle ear". As the waiter approached our table for the third time, he said something and I burst out laughing. My daughter immediately knew I had not heard clearly what he said. Quickly she handed him my menu and said thank you. "Mother, he said 'Do you want me to take your menu' What did you think he said?" and I replied "Do you want me to come home with you?"

Just want to say that I've been bug free for weeks. Promise. You were likely getting an old cached page stuck on that warning. If you still get it you can click on ignore and eventually it will go away. I missed you!
